Zeh L'Zeh moves rescued food to families with choice, privacy and dignity — through live inventory, private custom orders and scheduled pickup.

Families would come into one room and take the food that was available.
As demand grew, the operation moved to a drive-through system.
More than 100 families came through on Fridays; at peak, waits could reach ~30 minutes.
Families began privately selecting the food their household actually needs.
Private custom orders, live inventory, individual fulfillment and 24/6 food rescue. Friday is now just a smaller last-minute selection.
Zeh L'Zeh began in 2017 with food being distributed from one small room. Under the leadership of Rabbi Sholom Rokeach, it has grown into a large 24/6 food-rescue operation serving hundreds of families with privacy, choice and dignity.
Our main operation is based in Monsey, NY, with additional Zeh L'Zeh operations and programs in multiple locations, including:
Real orders from our customer portal. Names, addresses, phone numbers and order numbers removed — only the groceries families privately chose are shown.

Most of the food is donated — but moving $10.5M+ of food a year takes real infrastructure: staff, refrigeration, utilities, software, paper goods, fulfillment, equipment, transportation, maintenance and volunteer coordination.

Zeh L'Zeh runs almost twenty large double- and triple-door refrigerators and freezers to keep rescued food fresh. Additional walk-in capacity is urgently needed to keep growing.
Help Fund the Walk-InDrivers, sorters, packers and dispatchers keep food moving from 50+ donor locations to 325+ families every week.

Every dollar moves roughly ten dollars of rescued food onto a family's table. Help keep it running, 24/6.
